Flickr meet AND photography show. March 15, 2008

Time & Place - One Up is at 301 Central Avenue, NW, on the 2nd Floor. The Flickr meet will start at 4:00pm and all photographers should show up at 3:00pm to get your prints up and ready for the show.

Hey everyone. Get out your calendars and mark down March 15th for a big Flickr meet AND photography show. After Nancy, Grace and I were at the other night Nancy and I talked with the general manager about having a Flickr meet there. With the new name (used to be the Carom Club) and renovations they are really excited about an event like this. Marc and Adam and I met there today to check out the place and talked a bit with the GM, after Nancy talked with him earlier today, who also okay'd us to have a small photography show that day as well.

After talking it over between all of us this is what we agreed on:

The first ten people to respond here in the thread will get to put up one shot to display/sell on the 15th when we have our meet. (along with organizers of the event) They might even let us keep them up there too afterwards. We need to work out the details on that part still. But please do not take a spot if you don't think you can get a shot printed and framed by March 15th.

Print specifications:
The largest size print can be is 16 x 20 including the frame.
The smallest it can be is a 5 x 7 in an 8 x10 frame.

We are really excited to have an event such as this where we can invite all of our friends and family to get out and see exactly what it is we do at all of these Flickr meets. It will be great exposure for Albuquerque photographers as well. Hope everyone can make it.
