Flavorpill jumps back into the party-starting fray tonight with One Step Price: $25
Flavorpill jumps back into the party-starting fray tonight with One Step Beyond — the first in a series of monthly multimedia getdowns at the American Museum of Natural History. The Cullman Hall of the Universe provides a forum for minimal-techno pioneer Daniel Bell's not-so-buttoned-down mind and the electro antics of Le Castle Vania; Toronto lo-fi popcore duo Crystal Castles and DJ Julian S. Process hold down the museum's Powerhouse room; and cosmic B-boy Akim Funk Buddha and the jazz duo of Senegalese percussionist Abdou M'Boup and pianist Jean-Michel Pilc get it going in the Annex. The Hayden Planetarium also stays open late for screenings of the comet-crushing, mind-melting Cosmic Collisions .
Note: Enter near the Planetarium at 81st St and the Park. Ticket includes admission to Cosmic Collisions and one free future AMNH admission.
