Flag Raising Ceremony and Information Event June 20, 2011

To mark Armed Forces Day, South Lanarkshire Council’s Flag Raising Ceremony will take place on Monday 20th June, at Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton. If anyone wishes to attend please arrive at 9.55 prompt, the ceremony will commence at 10.00 and finish at approximately 10.20 a.m

Following this, South Lanarkshire Council and Lanarkshire Health Board have organised an information event aimed at people who have served in the Armed Forces, Reservists, those who may be due to leave the Forces and their families.
Information event for those who have served in the Armed Forces, Reservists, those who may be due to leave the Forces and their families. Present will be various organisations including South Lanarkshire Council, Lanarkshire NHS, Veterans Agency, Jobcentre Plus and several Veterans Charities, to provide advice and information to service personnel, veterans and their families on the local services and support available to them.
