Five Dancing Princesses April 26, 2008

The Youth Dance Theatre of Michigan will present the full-length ballet, Five Dancing Princesses, choreographed by artistic director Wendi Dubois. It is set to the beautiful music of Wolfgang Mozart, and danced by youth ages 8-18 years. The enchanting story is based on the Grimm's fairy tale, Twelve Dancing Princesses. The kings states a decree that any man who can discover the secret behind is five daughter's morning sleepiness and worn out shoes can choose one of the princesses for a bride. The story unfolds with mystery, amusement, and adventure, while a cast of princesses, lords, dark fairy, duke, king, queen, peasants, fairies, flowers, mists, and royalty entertain the audience of all ages.
