Amy Herrera is an original folk artist who grew up in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Amy has been playing guitar since she was 13, and she has been performing locally in various pop and original acts over the last nine years, including One Way Trip, Knowerknot, and more recently Matthew is a Boy's Name, a duo with fellow singer-songwriter Lindsey Bombard. Amy released her first EP, 85 Miles to Inspiration, in 2001.
In the summer of 2006 she released a full length album titled My Little Fish, released on July 1st at The Sad Cafe in Plaistow, NH. Recently Amy has been found performing and recording with her longtime friend and fellow singer-songwriter Jared Fiske.
Jared Fiske grew up in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. He started singing as a kid, and he picked up a guitar when he was eleven. Fiske has nurtured a deep love for rock music, and from a young age it's the only profession he has seriously considered. Some formative groups include The Worldwide Dryer Company, The Beta Constriction, The Jared Fiske Trio (a.k.a. Fiske Hill), and the wedding band New England Weather. Throughout college, Fiske supported himself playing in bars and restaurants, but longed for an opportunity to focus on his original material. Fiske released his first full-length CD, Flood the Foundation, in 2003. It received favorable reviews in the Worcester Magazine and The Daily Collegian. Jared is also the frontman for the original rock band The Folk Industry, who recently released their debut, Bridges and Payloads.
Fiske finished working on his second full-length album titled The Frog King, released on July 1st at The Sad Cafe in Plaistow, NH. Fiske can be found performing regularly across with fellow folk artist Amy Herrera.
