first Thursdays@Dean's January 4, 2007

Join us on Thursday January 4th for the night of looong short films. What a great way start off 2007! The one-hour selections of Texas-made short films are taken from past entries in the Texas Filmmakers Showcase. The January 2007 films are an excellent, award-winning selection of cinematic storytelling using a longer short film format. This FREE evening is not to be missed for some great short films and a chance to network with filmmakers! Please arrive early, screening begins promptly at 9:ish PM.

Every first Thursday of the month we will have a FREE screening of award-winning Texas-made short film entries from the Houston Film Commissions Texas Filmmakers Showcase or from other film festivals. The one hour-ish screenings will begin at 9PM at Dean's Credit Clothing, 316 Main Street (between Preston & Congress). Come see some great films that you may never get to see again or to just talk film in the comfort of the hippest venue downtown.
