Hope has appeared on the Russell Simmon’s HBO All-
Star Def Comedy Jam, seven seasons of BET’S
ComicView which she won her own one hour
Grandstand Comedy Jam Special, and was later
picked as one of BET’S 39 most favorite comics. In
addition, Comedy Central’s Comic Groove hosted by
Tracey Morgan.
Hope has been a semi-finalist in the Old English 800
Women’s Comedy Crunch, and a two time semi-finalist in the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition are also
accom¬plishments of this multi-talented artist. Her talent has taken her on a European Comedy tour, including the U.S.
Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Jamaica and even Alaska.
Hope is no stranger to the stage or big screen, perform¬ing in the NAACP Award nominated play “Culture Shock,” “Ken
Sagoes & Friends Variety Show, and John Singleton’s Baby Boy are just starters.
Even though HOPE is a rising star, she will never allow success to prevent her from reaching back. She is a founding
member of several community action groups, the African American Female Comedy Association (AAFCA), AMICAEFriends
of Zeta, an auxiliary organization of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and “A Nickel of Hope, Inc her non-profit
organization which features “Hope’s Girlz Club” a mentoring program for at-risk girlz.
Hope has a heart for ex-offenders so she has started another non-profit organization called “Got Hope,” which helps
ex-offenders find jobs after incarceration.
A woman in complete control is the best way to describe HOPE. When it comes to style, class and talent, she’s
def¬initely in a league of her own giving it her all to make her HOPEs a reality!
