An all-night affair of costumed hedonism and debauchery in a turn-of-the-century SF Bay Area hotel/brothel that was once a favorite hangout for Jack London. The old warehouse across the street is a restaurant with lots of character (and characters at the bar). The decor includes a 9' tall, stuffed polar bear and a large, round table upon which the United Nations declaration was signed in 1945. One of my favorite bands, Rube Waddell, will perform that night in the warehouse.
This event is limited to 120 costumed participants. No admittance without pre-registration. Cost is $40 with dinner, or $90 if you want to share a room in the hotel. Go to Event Homepage website listed below for more details and registration info. The correct address and other details will be provided after registration.
This is a fine event which is in the best tradition of the early days of the Cacophony Society.
I would be there myself, except I have already committed that night to TNG's speakeasy party in Oakland.
