Fireplace Ruins Hike December 15, 2010

This hike will begin at the Siphon Draw Trailhead parking lot in Lost Dutchman State Park and end at the Fireplace Ruins in Monument Canyon, Tonto National Forest. Using the Siphon Draw Trail #53, the Jacob's Crosscut Trail #58, and finally an un-maintained very rocky trail, for the final .6 miles, this moderate hike will cover 5 miles one way, with a total elevation gain of 362', and an estimated round-trip hiking time of 5 hours.
