Park Evans grew up in Ithaca, New York studying with classical guitarist Karl Wolff and British fingerstyle master Martin Simpson. He moved to Minnesota to further his study of classical guitar and composition. Upon discovering the rich music scene in the twin cities and studying with local jazz guitarists Kevin Daley and Dean Magraw he became a permanent resident. He currently performs in multiple bands ranging stylistically from jazz to rock to world music including: Parker Paisley, Fire Bell, New Primitives, Radio in the Desert, and These Modern Socks.
