Finger Lakes Regional - FIRST Robotics Competition 2008 - FIRST Overdrive March 6, 2008

Admission is FREE.
Thursday is practice.
Friday is qualifying rounds.
Saturday is elimination rounds & awards.

On March 6 - 8, over 30 teams from the Rochester area and beyond will come to RIT to compete their robots in a regional event. There are now over 40 such regional events in the world.

A cablecast of the event will be available to Time Warner Cable Channel 4 TV subscribers of any level in Rochester, New York and nearby suburbs.

Now in its 4th year, the Finger Lakes Region hosts many annual robotics events and provides strong partnerships with schools and students as well as many area corporations and sponsors.

FIRST works closely with research and academic organizations to provide tangible evidence of our impact on students' education and career choices.
