Some companies saw the current financial crisis coming, and some just say they did. Whether you have actually lost your job, or are still concerned that you might, you are probably experiencing a more stressful work life than you did a year ago. And if you're feeling that way, what about the employees at your company? And your company's clients and stockholders!?
Join SF IABC for a discussion of the ramifications of the current economic crisis and its effect on professional communicators. The two-tier program will offer a financial analysis of what went wrong and why, followed by a panel discussion with Bay Area communicators who will offer their perspectives of how things are changing, or need to change, in corporate communications and public relations departments to satisfy an ever more cynical and disbelieving audience.
While we may not have all the answers, we are planning a very interesting event. Join us, ask questions and share your insights about what you hear.
IABC members: $20 advance, $25 door; nonmembers: $25 advance, $30 door; students: $15.
