The Finance Speaker Series and the Finance Club at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, along with the Northwest Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, will host the panel discussion “Investing the 2010s” on Wednesday, Sept. 15.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. in the Samuel P. “Pat” Black III Conference Center, located on the first floor of the Jack Burke Research and Economic Development Center, 5101 Jordan Road. Admission is free and open to the public, and parking will be available in the deck behind the Burke Center.
A question-and-answer session will follow the discussion, which is intended to benefit both new and seasoned investors.
The panelists will be John Baker CFP, CLU, ChFC, CPCU, RFC, president of local chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and of Kingdom Financial Group in Erie; Penn State Behrend faculty members Dr. Brian Boscaljon CFA, associate professor of finance; Dr. Greg Filbeck CFA, FRM, CAIA, the Samuel P. Black Professor of Insurance and Risk Management and a professor of finance; Rick Hedderick CFP, lecturer in finance; Dr. Hunter Holzhauer, assistant professor of finance, and Eric Robbins CFA, investment analyst and portfolio manager at Robbins Wealth Management in Erie.
