Day 1: Saturday
Screenwriting
1. Format and screenwriting softwares
2. How to approach a screenplay
3. Basic elements of screenwriting
4. Three Act structure and Character driven plot
5. Creating and developing a Character
6. Analysis of few scripts like American Beauty, Wall E, Little Miss Sunshine, Thelma and Louise,
Dark Knight, Slumdog Millionaire,Deewar etc

Day 2: Sunday

1. Fundamentals of Cinematography
2. Stocks and Films
3. Three Point Lighting
4. Lighting equipments
5. Camera aesthetics and operation ( 3CCD mini DV camera).
6. Focus, Exposure, White Balance, ND Filter, Color Temperature
7. Lenses

Day 3: Saturday:

a) Filmmaking Technology
b) Filmmaking Process
c) Digital Filmmaking and Revolution

Direction:

a) Frame Balance & Composition
b) Camera Angles
c) Orientation & Direction
d) Storyboard
e) 180 degree rule
f) Blocking and staging
g) Cinematic techniques

Editing Techniques

Day 4: Sunday

Shooting Day: Students will have to shoot a short film based on the script written by the group.
Camera and Camera Assistant will be provided.

The workshop will be facilitated by Rabi Kisku.

RabiKisku Entertainment has been conducting Filmmaking Workshops in Bangalore,
Hyderabad and Chennai for the last three years.

RKe's have two feature films to their credit. Their next movie "Kya Yaaron" will be releasing in Jan 2012.

RKE has recently organized the "Bangalore Screenwriting Workshop" and was part of the organizing
team for "Imaging Cinema: Emerging Trends in Filmmaking", which was held in IIT Madras in May 2010.
