Day 1: Saturday
Screenwriting
1. Format and screenwriting softwares
2. How to approach a screenplay
3. Basic elements of screenwriting
4. Structure & Plot
5. Creating and developing a Character
6. Analysis of few scripts like Little Miss Sunshine, Wall E, American Beauty,
Dark Knight, Slumdog Millionaire, Lagaan.

Day 2: Sunday

1. Fundamentals of Cinematography
2. Formats.
3. Lighting Scheme
4. Lighting equipments
5. Camera aesthetics and operation.
6. Focus, Exposure, White Balance, Color Temperature
7. Lens Perspective

Day 3: Saturday:

a) Filmmaking Technology
b) Filmmaking Process
c) Digital Filmmaking and Digital Cinema

Direction:

a) Frame Balance & Composition
b) Camera Angles
c) Orientation & Direction
d) 180 degree rule
e) Blocking and staging
f) Cinematic techniques

Editing Techniques

Day 4: Sunday

Shooting Day: Students will have to shoot a short film based on the script written by the group.

The workshop will be facilitated by Rabi Kisku.
