The production team for "Homeland: Immigration in America" will show extended excerpts from the series and discuss the project at a free seminar on Saturday, July 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Centene Center for Arts and Education, 3547 Olive St. in Grand Center. The seminar will feature executive producer Leo Eaton ("National Geographic Explorer," "Frontline"), series producer Anne-Marie Berger, series producer and writer Jim Kirchherr, and editor Frank Popper.
Homeland, a national, three-hour documentary series produced by the Nine Network of Public Media, is narrated by Ray Suarez of "PBS NewsHour." It addresses key immigration issues facing our country through the lens of the upcoming 2012 election. It will be broadcast on Nine and on PBS nationally later in July.
