Film: The Rape of Artemisia Gentileschi April 16, 2010

Directed by Agnes Merlet, the film is based on the true story of Artemisia, a Renaissance painter who falls in love with her art teacher, and defends him when he is accused of rape. An introduction by Maria Rosaria Vitti-Alexander will take place before the film.
