Documentary film "War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us to Death" will be presented by nationally syndicated, award-winning columnist Norman Solomon. His 2005 book with the same title, on which the film is based, was described as 'a definitive historical text' and 'an indispensable record of the real relationships among government authorities and media outlets' by The Humanist magazine.
Solomon will also talk about his latest book "Made Love, Got War: Close Encounters with America's Warfare State".
A special, additional speaker will be Marine turned Peace Activist Rick Reyes, who served two tours of duty in Iraq. Norman and Rick visited Afghanistan together in 2009 and will report personally the conditions on the ground for our soldiers and the Afghan people, whom they were able to interview with the assistance of their own interpreter.
