A Community of Gardeners explores the vital role of seven community gardens in Washington DC and shows how these green spaces are changing people's lives, their communities and their environment. This film has been screened around the world and we are honored to offer this opportunity for local engagement on the subject of community gardens. In addition to the screening, award-winning film artist and documentarian Cintia Cabib will share her insights and, along with guests from local community gardens, will lead an open discussion on the community garden movement.
Popcorn and refreshments will be provided.
