Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr star as a pair of star-crossed lovers who meet on an ocean voyage and pledge to reunite at the Empire State Building until fate and near tragedy get in their way. A wonderful love story with comic overtones, director McCarey’s remake of his own Love Affair (1939) features stellar performances from the two leads and a tear-jerking conclusion set at Christmastime. Presented through the support of the Cornell/Weinstein Family Foundation, in loving memory of Regina Cornell.
