"Well forged. Entertaining." The Hollywood Reporter

There’s gold, greed, plenty of gunplay, and a bordello.

Two best pals, Anthony and Shlomo head out for Mexico, where they plan to score a “simple ganja deal.” Instead, they wind up in a Mexican jail where they’re given an ultimatum by treasure hunter Blake: break out of jail with him to retrieve a gold Mayan statue called the Black Jaguar, hidden in the blazing hot Mexican desert.

Little do they know the Black Jaguar statue carries with it a curse!

Starring Cameron Van Hoy, Michael Drayer, Timothy V. Murphy(“Sons of Anarchy,” “Criminal Minds”), Masayuki Imai (a major star in Japan), Carolyn Stotes, Jessie Camacho (“Reno 911”) and Ellen Gerstein.

There will be a Red Carpet at 7:00 p.m. Screening is followed by a Q & A with filmmakers Mike Bruce and Cameron Van Hoy. Post-show reception at Big Wangs Restaurant (5300 Lankershim Blvd., just down the street).

Tickets: $14.00. Available at the Laemmle NoHo 7 box office (310-478-3836) or at www.filmfestivalflix.com
