There’s gold, greed, plenty of gunplay, and a bordello.

Two best pals, Anthony and Shlomo head out for Mexico, where they plan to score a “simple ganja deal.” Instead, they wind up in a Mexican jail where they’re given an ultimatum by treasure hunter Blake: break out of jail with him to retrieve a gold Mayan statue called the Black Jaguar, hidden in the blazing hot Mexican desert.

Little do they know the Black Jaguar statue carries with it a curse!

Starring Cameron Van Hoy, Michael Drayer, Timothy V. Murphy(“Sons of Anarchy,” “Criminal Minds”), Masayuki Imai (a major star in Japan), Carolyn Stotes, Jessie Camacho (“Reno 911”) and Ellen Gerstein.

Pre-showing reception begins at 6:00 p.m. at Monopole Wine Bar (21 S. El Molino Ave., about one block from the theatre). There will be a Red Carpet beginning at approximately 7:00 p.m. Screening is followed by a Q & A with filmmakers Mike Bruce and Cameron Van Hoy.
