Moshe has chosen to leave the Hasidic community in which he was raised. Documentarian John Mournier follows Moshe’s entry into the unknown secular society as he works toward earning a High School diploma, negotiates his relationship with his secular grandparents (who have encouraged his departure) and tries to support himself, all while lacking basic skills. Moshe's biggest struggle however is one of faith and his relationship with God as he attempts to discover in which world he is better off.
