Following the film The Jackie Robinson Story a discussion will be given by Dr. Steven Millner focusing on the significance of Jackie Robinson's social consciousness before and after his years spent as a Dodger and examining the evidence that Jackie Robinson never "dodged" the critical issues that emerged during the days of his life.
This event is related to the "Pride & Passion: The African-American Baseball Experience" exhibit. The traveling exhibition has been made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: great ideas brought to life.
