2nd tree from rock
Portland, Oregon

To raise awareness about Portland's vibrant film scene Film Action Oregon, the nonprofit that owns and operates the Hollywood Theatre will be holding a photo scavenger hunt on Saturday afternoon during which participants will search Portland for a variety of locations where feature films have been shot, snapping photos of themselves and friends at each location.

Participation in this event is free and a prize will be awarded to the team that finishes the scavenger hunt in the shortest amount of time. In addition, all of the photos taken will be projected onto the side of the Hollywood Theatre during the Theatre's 82nd Birthday celebration on Thursday, July 17th from 7pm-11pm.

Please RSVP to justen (justen@filmaction.org) if you would like to participate, or simply show up at the Theatre between 1:00 and 1:30pm on Saturday afternoon (July 12th). There will be a quick explanation of the rules before the scavenger hunt begins at 2pm.

Completing the entire scavenger hunt will take a few hours, but feel free to complete as many or as few clues as you like. Richard Beer, the Hollywood Theatre's Artistic Director has put a lot of time into hand selecting the clues. It's going to be awesome!

See you on Saturday - Thanks!
