Niagara Falls is more than a bit player in this rollicking dark comedy of fathers, sons, and fallout from the past. Bad news comes in cataclysmic waves, starting with word that hard-living, hard-drinking Duke’s (Keitel) bungled suicide has sent his body whirling through the rapids. Duke’s perfidy reaches out from beyond the grave when his three boys Nuts, Cal, and Jacob, a dysfunctional dynasty if ever there was one, discover that they have only a few days to live as a result of the for-hire medical experiment the old man signed them up for as kids.
