Figure Painting Workshop April 2, 2011

Figure Painting with David Shevlino,focuses on the technique of 'Alla Prima', direct wet-into-wet oil painting, and the various processes used to create a fresh, spontaneous response to subject matter. After demonstration, students will apply paint in large tonal patches and refine, and add details as they progress. This class will be particularly helpful to students who wish to paint more loosely and for those who are interested in learning about painting the human figure as subject matter. A live model will pose during the session. Students are required to bring their own tools and materials, and a supply list will be supplied.
