The American Lung Association in Idaho is now taking registrations from individuals and teams to participate in its inaugural "Fight For Air Climb" stairclimb event at U.S. Bank Plaza in Boise on April 28, 2012. Offering a literal change of pace to fundraising walks and runs, the Lung Association offers stairclimb events as a unique way for people across a wide range of ages and abilities to support its mission and programs. Participants are timed only as they go up the stairs course, and they ride elevators down - making for a safe, effective workout that's easy on the knees!
Climbers can register as individuals or as part of a team, whether through their company or with friends and family. Participants pay a registration fee and also raise funds, which will be used to pursue the Lung Association's mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.
