Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase October 10, 2010

A cool breeze and cool cars will both be rolling into San Diego this fall, when the country’s most enthusiastic car connoisseurs will coast down to Fifth Avenue to display their rides in an extraordinary showcase of unique and luxury high-performance rides. Put the top down for an afternoon of both vintage and contemporary cars, when the 2nd Annual Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase rolls into the scenic Gaslamp Quarter this autumn.
Increasing popular demand has made this show grow dramatically from last year! Last year’s event was a huge success, with over 10,000 guests strolling the streets of downtown, and this year will draw an even bigger crowd! Sunday, October 10th, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM will mark a new day for the Auto Showcase, as it spreads all the way from E Street to K Street. This FREE event for San Diego’s car-crazy inhabitants will feature everything from vintage motorcycles to cutting-edge hybrids to sleek European exotics, set against the dramatic backdrop of the district’s Victorian architecture.
The highly anticipated announcement of the car show’s “People’s Choice Award” will be a thrilling finale to the event! Attendees as well as car exhibitors will be able to vote for the most stunning car on display. At the end of the day, the winner will be announced – in front of thousands – and receive their award, along with an entire year of unparalleled bragging rights!
