Soccer Rules Again!
In Germany and at the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles Women’s World Cup!
The sixth Women’s World Cup takes place in eight different cities throughout Germany and is expected to be a milestone in the history of Women’s soccer.
The German team is the defending champion and this is the first time Germany hosts the Women's World Cup Tounament.
Once again, the Goethe-Institut Los Angeles opens its doors to all L.A. soccer fans, when we broadcast selected matches in our media lounge.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup was launched in 1991 and kicked off in the People’s Republic of China.
The first winner was the team of the USA who, along with Germany is expected to be one of the favorites in the tournament.
Whereas the U.S. team will play Columbia, Sweden and Korea, the Germans will face the teams from France, Canada and Nigeria in Round One.
