FICCI - Design Conclave 2008 September 24, 2008

Design innovation is the need of the hour to help Indian economy grow faster with sustainable growth rate. Design Conclave 2008 focuses on the strategic relationship of design with business and how focus on design can change the growth path of a company irrespective of industry it belongs to. The Theme of the Conference is " Design for Growth".

To encourage students realize their potential and to recognize outstanding talent in design, a “Design Competition for students” is being organized by FICCI. The Competition Covers sectors like Automobile & Transportation Design, Communication Design, Interactive Design, Interior Design, Product / Industrial Design, Textile Design. The Theme of the competition is " Design for Market". The entries can be made on sub themes like " Design for Global Market", "Design for Local Market", "Design for Rural Market", "Design for Sustainability", "Design for Recycle Marjet" & Innovations for Market. The competition is now open for Indian students of design discipline from recognized universities. The Last date for submission is August 30, 2008. Entry fee for the competition is Rs. 500.
