In the substantial graphic novel biography "Feynman," Jim Ottaviani and Leland Myrick present the larger-than-life exploits of Richard Feynman: Nobel-winning quantum physicist, adventurer, musician, world class raconteur, and one of the greatest minds of the twentieth century.
Author and U-M Librarian Jim Ottaviani will talk about this latest graphic novel. Book sale and signing to follow, courtesy of Vault of Midnight. Light refreshments. Join us in the Hatcher Library Gallery; free and open to the public.
Ottaviani has the wonderful ability to take dry history and turn it into a truly fun read. He has authored several comic books about the history of science, including Two-Fisted Science: Stories About Scientists. He has worked as a nuclear engineer and is currently a librarian for the University of Michigan.
