The Chicago College of Healing Arts, an alternative healing school at 1622 W. Devon, will open its doors to the public from 9am-4pm on December 19th for a day of relaxation, holiday shopping, and an opportunity to learn about and support the school. The Holiday Marketplace Fundraiser will host a variety of unique vendors offering services such as professional chair massages, tarot card readings and herbal consultations.

While shopping for the holidays from area holistic merchants (gift certificates for Thai massage, organic bath and body products, holiday fare) attendees may browse the school's catalog of educational programs (Massage Therapy, Foundations in Herbalism and Structural Therapy). Refreshments will be available for purchase.

About the College of Healing Arts

The Chicago College of Healing Arts is a small, intimate school where education occurs in a community context that stresses developing the unique talents of each learner. Programs are offered in Massage Therapy, Structural Therapy, Herbal Medicine and a number of continuing education classes for massage therapists, herbalists and practitioners of Chinese Medicine.

The faculty is comprised of seasoned professionals with years of experience.
