"Festival of Psalms" To Delight Audience at Tivoli Theatre April 29, 2012

Downers Grove, IL – The new Director of the Downers Grove Choral Society Dr. Amy Weller will be bringing her 60-voice community chorus to the Tivoli Theatre, at 5021 Highland Ave in downtown Downers Grove, as she conducts an afternoon of music on Sunday, April 29th at 3 PM. Tickets are $22 for general admission, $17 for seniors, and $7 for students.

In addition to the ever talented Downers Grove Choral Society members, the Sunday afternoon program will also feature the Chicago premiere for Hailstork’s “I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes” with Tenor Cornelius Johnson and Mendelssohn’s “Psalm 42” with Soprano Melissa Orr.
