Festival of Documentary Films about Afghanistan March 21, 2009

United for Peace of Pierce County and the Micah Project will sponsor a festival of documentary films about Afghanistan on three successive Saturday nights at First United Methodist Church, now located at 621 Tacoma Avenue, on March 21st, March 28th, and April 4th. The goal is to promote peace through political and cultural understanding. On opening night there will be an open reception starting at 7 pm with free food and art from Afghanistan.
