Festival of Chefs November 19, 2009

Many of South Florida’s finest chefs are collaborating on Thursday, November 19, 2009, for the 21st Annual Festival of Chefs. Proceeds from the event benefit Easter Seals South Florida programs and services designed to help children and adults with disabilities maximize their potential in order to successfully live, learn, work, and play in the community.

This culinary extravaganza will showcase several of the most acclaimed chefs of South Florida. Guests will be treated to sample a showcase of their finest creations as well as of some of the world’s best wines while helping support the Easter Seals mission to make South Florida a more welcoming place for people with disabilities.

Easter Seals culinary students will have their own booth, serve tasting portions and compete with chefs for awards such as “Best Tasting,” “Best Presentation,” and “People’s Choice.”

Popular Miami-based artist, MANO has created a signature painting for the Festival of Chefs that will be live-auctioned at the event. Vacation packages with airfare, hotel getaways, and other high-end luxury items will also be auctioned.
