Take time to enjoy your life, exercise, and network all at the same time! On Satuday June 19th, join FemmeSpeak! for a fun and exciting day on an easy bicycle tour to see two covered bridges, stop for shopping, wine tasting and even watch a polo match!
The FemmeSpeak! bicycle tour will start at 10:00am on River Road in Frenchtown, one block south of the Frenchtown Bridge. The bike ride will be ten miles in total with multiple stops. If you would like to have breakfast beforehand, there are great restaurants in Frenchtown that open as early as 7am but don't miss the bike ride!
The bicycle tour includes a stop at Two Buttons, the shop owned by Elizabeth Gilbert, author of "Eat, Pray, Love" (the movie coming out on August 13th starring Julia Roberts) and her husband Jose. The tour will feature the covered bridges in Uhlerstown and Erwinna followed by a picnic lunch and wine tasting at Sand Castle Winery and ending with a Polo Match at Tinicum State Park.
Parking is free, but is limited. It is suggested that you park in Frenchtown only if you will be renting a bike. Otherwise, please park at Tinicum Park and ride your bike to Frenchtown (only a mile away).
Cost for the day is only $39.00 and includes lunch, wine tasting, and admission to the polo match. Bike rental is not included. Must pre-register for this event by June 11th!
