Join filmmakers for a dynamic discussion examining how female filmmakers, writers and actors are challenging the traditional associations of what makes a movie for or by women at “Based on the Book,” part of the Tribeca Film Festival’s “Tribeca Talks: Pen to Paper hosted by Barnes & Noble” panel series on Friday, April 19 at 1:00 PM at Barnes & Noble Union Square, located at 33 E 17th Street (between Broadway and Union Square East), Manhattan.

Panelists include producer of the ESPN Nine for IX series Libby Geist, director Rachel Boynton (Big Men), producer Tanya Ager Meillier (Alias Ruby Blade) and writer/producer Laura Goode (Farah Goes Bang).
