Today, with the global fashion industry facing questions about its social and environmental impact, a new generation of British fashion entrepreneurs and designers is breaking new ground by marrying cutting-edge design and ethical objectives.
As part of London Design Week the British Library is bringing together a panel of pioneering design and fashion entrepreneurs to talk about the new age of ‘eco-fashion', their own entrepreneurial careers and achievements, and building the next generation of sustainable brands. The audience will have the opportunity to learn from the panel's experience and put their questions to our entrepreneurs.
Your ‘eco-fashion' pioneers:
Jen Ruppert is the founder of eco-fashion company Revamp.
Ed Gillespie is creative director and co-founder of communications agency Futerra.
Safia Minney is founder and director of Fair Trade fashion and lifestyle label People Tree.
