Oakland Zoo visitors are encouraged to donate fresh produce, such as apples, watermelon, grapes, carrots, lettuce or other delicious fruits and vegetables to help feed the animals. You can also experience an opportunity to enter the elephant enclosure, before the hungry herd! Leave your favorite elephant a special treat! But, you must arrive early! Feast for the Beasts begins at 9:00am and visitors will be lining up...so please get in line early so you don't miss out! The first 250 guests will receive tickets to enter the elephant exhibit. We will also have animal enrichment stations, where families can create burlap treats for the tigers. Celebrate the day with live music and dance from around the world by Garfield Elementary's Cultural Music and Dance class. This event is included with regular Zoo admission.
