As our story unfolds, Faust desires youth and not just his own, but also of a beauty named Marguerite. In fact, he's willing to sell his soul for a second chance at life...and love. But in the end, the angels hear the prayers of Marguerite: As Faust prays, her soul rises to the heavens.
