Fast+Fresh Competition - Entries Open NOW! April 23, 2010

Riverside Theatres is proud to host the exciting Fast+Fresh competition, a youth arts initiative.

Inspiring and astounding, Fast+Fresh competitions showcase the remarkable talents of young performers and artists across the fields of comedy, theatre and dance and offers participants a chance to win fantastic prizes. Fast+Fresh is open to participants from across NSW from Dubbo to Wollongong, Port Macquarie to the Hunter Valley as well as wider Sydney with the aim of unearthing and cultivating the next generation of Australia’s choreographers, dancers, writers, directors, actors, comedians, composers and singers.

The program’s dates stretch across the year, with the all laughs Fast+Fresh Comedy competition starting off the Fast+Fresh year. Entries for Fast+Fresh Comedy close April 8 with Finals on April 23. The highly dramatic Fast+Fresh Theatre entries close on April 6 and the finals are scheduled for June 25 and the upbeat Fast+Fresh Dance entries close on September 18 and finals are on November 19.

Winner performs at the World's Funniest Island Festival
Entry: $25 per comedian

FAST+FRESH THEATRE:
Entries close: 16 April
Heats: 24-28 May
Finals: 25 June
Entry: $22 per play

FAST&FRESH DANCE:
Entries close: 18 September
Heats: 15-17 Nov
Finals: 19 November
Entry: $12 per piece/registration
