Atlanta Kick is bringing the best in self-defense training to Atlanta with the nationally-known FAST Defense seminars.

It is crucial in today's world that we arm our children with non-physical skills to effectively ward off a threat. FAST Defense uses playful interactive scenarios to educate and allow the students to practice good assertive verbal boundary setting. These skills work very well with bullies. The zero tolerance rule and the high incidences of weapons are just 2 of many important reasons why physical skills alone are inadequate to help children take care of themselves.

FAST Defense also teaches modified verbal skills to help a child deal with a stranger danger or inappropriate touch situation. Studies have shown conclusively that most adult attackers will discontinue their advances if the child keeps a safe distance and gets very loud. Again these scenarios are done in a fun and playful manner. We do not need to scare the children needlessly to them to own these skills!
