Fashion Week Downtown Escondido May 5, 2008

More than 75 business owners, volunteers and staff of the DBA are putting together plans for the first annual Downtown Escondido Fashion Week presented by Mercedes Benz of Escondido. With designers like Ricky Lizalde and Susanti showcasing their latest fashions you will also see runway shows that include hair designers, make-up artists, downtown clothing boutiques, home accessory stores and more.
In addition to the important designers showcasing their collections throughout the week you can enjoy a Fashion Week launch party, a tea with Ricky Lizalde to "Give Back To Fashion" and multiple trunk shows at the downtown art galleries and museums.

It will be an exciting week full of fun activities that celebrate the art of fashion, introduce visitors to our downtown and give back to local charities with a dedicated event.

All events (excluding Spa Day) will be held at the former H. Johnson building located at 131 South Broadway. This building will be transformed into a world-class venue where the Downtown Business Association will host five events throughout the week.
