The Salford Fashion Show '09 has been scheduled for the 27 May and we've got a limited number of tickets to give away!
May 27 sees the return of the School of Art & Design Fashion Show to the Manchester Town Hall. Last year we had Gladiator-inspired womenswear made from moulded plastic, 'circus freak' dresses, and an all-organic collection inspired by nature. And this year is set to be even more spectacular.
This year's show will be sponsored by Harvey Nichols, which has also provided a space for the student's work to be shown in the Manchester store.
Fashion Course Leader, Bashir Aswat, said:
"We are very excited about the upcoming show. The students have been working really hard putting the finishing touches to their latest outfits. There is some amazing work on display"
The Town Hall fashion shows are the only chance to see the student's latest creations before they head off to catwalk shows in London at Graduate Fashion Week on 7 - 11 June, which is widely regarded as a showcase for the very best graduate fashion design talent in the UK.
The show will take place on May 27 at 3:00pm, we have a limited number of tickets and we are giving them out on a first come first serve basis. If you would like tickets then send an e-mail to r.hayes@salford.ac.uk with your name, address, number of tickets needed and we'll try to get them to you.
