Enjoy a fresh-from-the-farm, Connecticut-grown dinner, "Farms to Fork", at Northwest Park on Friday, September 10, 2010. A wondrous selection of Connecticut farm foods will be freshly prepared for your enjoyment, served on bamboo and other eco-friendly tableware. Tickets are $60 per person. After dinner will be a 5-item auction of Connecticut gourmet baskets and other locally produced items. All proceeds benefit the Windsor Education Foundation.

Some of the farm-fresh tasty treats will include crisp romaine salad, garlic chicken, roasted vegetables and lots more! Starting with a variety of special hors d'oeuvres and wrapping up with Apple Crumb Delight, this dinner will be a celebration of locally grown, fresh and delicious seasonal foods.

Farms and other donors supplying the fresh ingredients include:
- Earthtone Farm (vegetables)
- Paul Nascuta (vegetables and gift basket)
- UCONN (ice cream)
- The Beanery at Bart's (catering)
- and more

The Windsor Education Foundation encourages community support for excellence in public education and provides funding for innovative projects and programs in the Windsor Public Schools.
