Farmer's Market at Vaseo Apartment Homes June 16, 2012

In an effort to join the movement of sustainability and healthy living, Vaseo Apartment Homes - the community that brought you "March Madness" - is hosting a series of on-site Farmer's Market gatherings in conjunction with the Arizona Community Farmer's Markets association. Every Saturday from June 9 to July 28, the markets will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., featuring a variety of farmers and vendors selling locally-grown produce and goods, including some prepared foods and beverages. Volunteers of America is supporting the cause and raising awareness for female veterans and their families. A canned food drive will also be held to benefit St. Mary's Food Bank.

The market will debut the community's newest amenity space and provide a space for the surrounding community to gather every week. It will serve as a dedicated events and staging area. In keeping with the community's theme, "Life Centered," this space has been designed to provide a central location for residents, local homeowners and businesses, as well as their family and friends, to gather for a variety of activities and events that promote being green and adopting healthier living habits.
