Milking: Straight from the farm! See a cow being milked and learn about the importance of dairy products to New Mexico's economy and the health of her citizens. Demonstrations Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.; Sunday, 3 p.m. Fiber Arts: The production of fabrics and clothing from raw materials has always required skill and patience. Sewing, spinning, weaving and embroidery are among the traditional handcrafts you will see produced at the museum. Quilting: Thursdays and Fridays, 9 a.m. to noon. Blacksmithing: Right out of the past, the blacksmith shop is a must-see attraction at the Museum! Here you can watch metal being formed into useful objects--right before your eyes. Learn about the history and importance of the blacksmith in rural communities. Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
