Farm & Barn Harvest Fest and Quilt Show September 12, 2009

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Mokena Community Park District with us at Yunker Farm as we host this great day of activities, carnival games (including the mechanical bull and shooting gallery), on-site vendors, including Berkot's and Melka's Nursery, as well as over 20 other local vendors selling food, drinks, fall home decor, antiques, merchandise, and more.

Kids of all ages can compete in a variety of contests, such as potato sack races, mini-tractor races, pie eating and more, as well as enjoy horseback rides, sheepshearing and spinning demonstrations.

The 2nd Annual Quilt Show and Competition will be held at The Oaks Fieldhouse. More than 60 quilts will be on display at the Oaks Fields House during Fram & Barn Fest. Entries are submitted by quilters from all over the south suburbs, competing for prizes in four categories. Judging is all done by people's choice.
