Far Hills Race Meeting October 17, 2009

The annual Far Hills Race Meeting is a landmark event, gathering more than 50,000 spectators to experience the height of culinary skill, modern and traditional fashion, top thoroughbred jump racing and traditional camaraderie in an unbeatable social event. 2009 marks the 89th running of the Far Hills Race Meeting on Saturday, October 17th at Moorland Farms, in Far Hills. The event has helped raise over $17 million to benefit Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ. The Far Hills Race Meeting is sponsored by Open Road Auto Group.

The Moorland Farms grounds open to the public at 8 a.m. on Race Day. Post time for the first race is 1 p.m. The Far Hills Race Meeting will be held rain or shine.
